Your information

Privacy

A little clarity about the information you share with Odyssean, and the choices you have.

We are preparing for launch. This notice covers our launch list and the store we are building. We will update it before sales begin.

What we collect and why

Launch list: your email address and a record of your consent, including the wording version and submission time, so we can confirm your subscription and send the launch updates you request. Website security: connection and device information, such as your IP address and browser details, to operate the site, check submissions and prevent abuse. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for security checks. Orders, once available: your name, email, delivery address, items, payment status and shipment details, so we can process, fulfil and support your purchase. Enquiries: the information you choose to include when you contact us, so we can respond. The launch list does not ask for your date of birth, body weight or health information. Please do not send full card details or unnecessary sensitive information in an enquiry.

Your email choices

The launch list uses a confirmation email. Submitting the form starts that process; confirm through the email to join. Buying a product will not subscribe you to marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in our marketing emails. Klaviyo keeps consent and suppression records to respect that choice. Necessary order, dispatch and refund messages are separate from marketing. Klaviyo may record delivery, opens and link clicks, depending on the email settings. These help us understand whether our emails are reaching people.

Services that help us

We use Cloudflare to host and secure the website and store order records, and Klaviyo to manage email subscriptions and messages. When checkout opens, Stripe will handle payment details on its hosted payment page. We do not store your full payment-card number on this website. Delivery details will be shared with the carrier as needed to send your order. These providers operate internationally and may process information outside Australia. Their privacy notices explain their handling of information: Cloudflare (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/), Klaviyo (https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy/privacy-notice) and Stripe (https://stripe.com/au/privacy).

Storage and security

When the store opens, browser storage will remember the products and quantities in your bag and help avoid duplicate checkout attempts. Clearing that storage can remove your saved bag. Security and payment providers may also use cookies or similar technologies for their services. Order records are restricted to authorised staff. Your order-status link is private, so avoid sharing it publicly. We keep information for the services you request, consent records, customer support and applicable legal obligations; the period depends on the record and those obligations.

Access, corrections and concerns

You can ask about your information, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern through our contact page (/contact). Some records may need to be retained to meet legal obligations or honour an unsubscribe.
